Commitment To Service
 Clyde's Carpet store was started by Clyde Millhorn in 1976, in a barn in Brownsburg, Indiana. In 1977, we moved to 6531 West Washington St in Indianapolis, where we remained for 19 years before moving to our current location at 10750 East US Highway 36, Avon, Indiana. We started out as a totally retail establishment and expanded our business to include many of the builders on the west side. We consider our builders to be the best in the business and are very proud of the fact that they choose us for their floor covering needs.
We feel our costs are the best in the business. However, the least expensive price in the world is not worth anything without expert installation. With attention to every detail for every job, large or small.
Clyde's Carpet is very proud of the fact that NO "seconds", "mill trials", "thirds", or otherwise inferior products ever knowingly pass through our doors, ever! What seems like a good deal now, turns into a nightmare later.

FOR BUILDERS
We install everything we sell. All prices are
marked with installed prices. We install all forms of ceramic tile, marble and quarry tiles, as well as 3/4" oak flooring, the laminates, such as Mohawk Laminate Flooring, "Wilsonart" and all
major brands of carpet including "Mohawk Floorscapes",
"Galaxy" and "World". Further, for our builders we install standard and custom mirrors, bath accessories such as towel bars and paper holders, and shower doors.
