A simple solution of 1 cup of distilled white vinegar to a gallon of lukewarm clear water will work fine. A word of caution is appropriate here though. If you have an asphalt driveway, you will track in oil and asphalt residue onto your new vinyl floor. This may cause the vinyl to yellow and is irreversible. The only defense is to take your shoes off in the garage. Do not use anything abrasive on vinyl floors. Install proper floor guides on all furniture and keep them clean. Please be advised, when using a rubber-backed mat on your vinyl floor it can cause the vinyl to turn yellow. This occurrence is not covered in our warranty. Pulling of the stool is not the responsibility of CLYDE'S CARPET. We will accommodate our customer whenever possible in this area, but do not want the responsibility of old or rusty plumbing. If we pull your stool it is done at an additional charge. All vinyl requires 1/4 round or shoe mold around all edges. This eliminates the cut edge of the vinyl floor showing. Appliances will be moved during vinyl installation for an additional charge. No appliances will be connected or disconnected.
